Kroger I Can Make History Scholarship - April 2013

While this is not the first piece of music that I have composed, it is the first to be used for a project or scholarship. The rules for this scholarship was to compose and record music no more than 4 minutes long that represented some form of Black History. I decided to base my music around Claressa Shields, who is the first woman to win the 2012 Olympic gold medal in the women's middleweight division of Boxing. The song has no words but it represents a fighting spirit from a falling city that achieves its goals despite the opposition.

Tragic Kingdom - December 2013

This project was the first game I ever created. While the assets used in it weren't made from scratch, I did piece the game together. What I did create from scratch was the music implemented into it. These tracks were used as background music for travel and bosses/events.

Senior Capstone Project -

Year of 2014

In my high school English 12 class, one of our final projects was to plan an event that would bring awareness to a serious issue in today's society. My topic of choice was Domestic Violence. I composed a piece that took the point of view of a child living at home with an abusive father. This song may not flawlessly represent how serious Domestic Violence can be, but it does bring awareness to the issue.

Retrolight - December 2015

In my Sophomore year of college, I took a Story Development class that required developing an animation around the story I wrote. For my project, I decided to write a story about a teenage girl in high school who struggles with bullying that later begins to discover her hidden superpowers. The entire project I created from scratch, from the visual elements to all audio implemented with it. If you would like to watch the animation and listen to the voice overs as well click the button below.

Senior Project (EMU) -

April 2018

For my final class at Eastern Michigan University, I had to create a project that encompassed all of what I learned throughout my entire program. I decided to develop a game from scratch, which includes the music used in it. The game is themed in a tropical area that has been weathered and overrun by ancient artifacts. The player must navigate through the maze and reach the altar where their lost heirloom is placed. The music used in this project is for travel, game over, and winning.
